India Army set a World Record in 19th Nov 2017

Indian Army creates Guinness record with 58 men riding a single motorbike in Bengaluru yesterday 19th Nov 2017.

In a spectacular display of daredevilry, 58 men of the Indian Army set a world record by riding a single motorcycle at the IAF base in Yelahanka, Bengaluru.

The 58-member motorcycle team of the Army Service Corps (ASC) christened 'Tornadoes' set another world record by riding a 500cc Royal Enfield motorbike for 1,200 metres at the Yelahanka Air Force Station, read a a Defence Ministry statement.

The team prepared for the stunt by consuming only biscuits and 100 ml of water in order to keep their body weights suit the bike and its custom-made frame.

The team poses for a photo after creating the record. With 1,000 shows across the world in three decades, the ASC team now holds 20 world and national records, including one by 56 men riding a motorbike in 2010," the statement said. The Tornadoes team debuted at the 9th Asian Games in New Delhi in 1982.
