Apple Valentine's day offer on iPhones and iPads

Apple has announced a slew of offers on its iPhones and iPads. Under the Apple Valentine’s Day offer, buyers can get a cashback of up to Rs 10,000 on a range of iPhones and iPads. With this offer, anyone can buy an iPad or the iPhone SE for as low as Rs 15,000.

Valentine’s Day offer:

• As a part of Apple Valentine’s Day offer, customers using HDFC Bank EasyEMI option will get a cashback of Rs 7,000 on the iPhone 6 and the iPhone SE. 

• The company is offering a cashback of Rs 10,000 on the iPad, iPad Mini4 and iPad Pro. The cashback offer is applicable starting today and will continue till 14 February.

• The Apple iPhone 6 that is priced at Rs 27,000 is available for Rs 20,000 after the cashback. 

• The iPhone SE 32GB variant is available for Rs 15,000, and the 128GB variant of the device is available for Rs 28,000.

• On iPads, the 9.7-inch iPad 32GB variant is priced at Rs 25,000 and the iPad 128GB variant is priced at Rs 35,700. 

• After a cashback of Rs 10,000, the 32GB and 128GB iPad variants will be available for Rs 15,000 and Rs 25,700 respectively.

•  Apart from the above-mentioned offers, HDFC is also offering a cashback of Rs 12,000 on the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus. 

• The cashback offer on the iPhone X, iPhone 8 and the iPhone 8 Plus is valid until 11 March.

Republic day offer in Reliance Jio - Effect on Jan 26

In a bid to offer more value to customers competiton, Reliance Jio Republic Day offer has been announced, giving customers up to 50% more data and a discount of Rs 50 on most per day data plans.

 This announcement comes after Reliance Jio had recently announced that customers can either opt for 500MB more data or a discount of Rs 50 in tariffs.

Reliance Jio Republic Day offer details

1GB per day plans revised to 1.5GB per day

• As part of the Republic Day offer, Reliance Jio has increased daily data allowances by up to 50%. 

• The telco has upgraded the existing 1GB data per day plans to 1.5GB data per day at no increase in prices.

• Instead, the operator has announced a discount of Rs 50 in tariffs.

• As a result, the most popular Rs 459 plan will now cost Rs 399 only, and offer 1.5GB data per day with a validity of 84 days. 

• In effect, users can get up to 126GB high speed 4G data in plan, along with other benefits like free voice, SMS and access to all the Jio apps.

• To sum up, the new 1.5GB data per day plans are available in the following denominations – Rs 149, Rs 349, Rs 399 and Rs 449.

1.5GB per day plans revised to 2GB per day

• Next up are the existing 1.5GB data per day plans, which will offer 2GB data per day come January 26. 

• As a result, users can get up to 182GB of high speed 4G data under this segment. The available denominations in the new 2GB data per day segment are – Rs 198, Rs 398, Rs 448 and Rs 498.

An interesting point to note here is the difference between the popular 84 days plan in the 1.5GB and 2GB segments – the two plans, i.e., Rs 399 and Rs 448, come with a price difference of just Rs 49, but the Rs 448 plan offers 42GB extra data, which means it offers a lot more value for money when compared to the flagship Rs 399 plan.

Data War in India - To challenge Jio, Vodafone's Rs.199 new prepaid offer

Vodafone has rolled out a new Rs. 199 plan for its prepaid users. It offers unlimited local and STD calls along with 1GB of 4G/3G data for 28 days. Users should note that Vodafone is not giving 1GB data per days, but it is for the entire 28 days validity period.

Vodafone will charge 30 paisa per minute for the rest of seven days period to people who use more than 1000 local or STD minutes in any period of consecutive seven days. Under this plan, users will be charged at 30 paisa per minute post exhaustion of 250 minutes in a day. Additionally, people calling more than 300 unique numbers in a week will be charged at 30 paisa per minute for the remaining validity

With the entry of Reliance Jio in telecom sector, data war in India has become more intense. Companies like Vodafone, Airtel, Idea, Aircel, etc have resorted to aggressive data pricing, benefiting users. For now, Jio’s tariffs remain one of the cheapest in the country.

Vodafone Launches Two New Plan for Prepaid Users

Vodafone has launched two new prepaid plans with unlimited calling and extra data in order to challenge Reliance Jio.

Vodafone’s plans start at Rs 458 and Rs 509 and come with the promise of unlimited calling, free SMS and 1GB data per day. But unlike other plans with 28-day validity, the plans have a longer validity.

First, Vodafone’s recharge for Rs 509 is available for all prepaid users. The Vodafone recharge comes with unlimited all calls and 1GB data per day,duration 84 Days and 84GB Data.According to the details, Vodafone will offer unlimited local and STD calls to any number in India, even on roaming.

The second new Vodafone recharge is for Rs 458. The plan comes with a 70 day validity, though it has similar benefits as the Rs 509 plan.

Vodafone’s Rs 458 recharge also comes with 1GB data per day, which is available for both 4G and 3G data connections, 100 SMS per day and unlimited local and STD calls. However, the upto 250 mins/day and/or 1000 mins/week limit stays on calls. In total, the plan is offering 70GB of data per day.
Vodafone’s plan also includes free subscription of Vodafone Play.

Air Asia now Partner with Malaysia Tourism- Offer Booking Open

Low-cost airliner AirAsia has announced the launch of an exciting travel fair in Hyderabad being organised in association with Tourism Malaysia.

This is aimed at promoting tourism between India and Malaysia and thereby contribute to the socio-economic development of both the nations.

During the initiative, interesting deals and offers are likely to be offered at the fair with guests can avail up to 20 per cent off on their flight tickets.

Vodafone Launches Short Duration Data Offer.

To counter Jio,Vodafone today launched two new data and voice offers for new customers. Customers who will join Vodafone now will get unlimited local & STD calls, free national roaming (outgoing & incoming) and 1GB data per day for the first recharge of Rs 496 for 84 days. In another offer, a new customer will get unlimited local & STD calls and 1GB data for 28 days for Rs 177.

These first recharge plans are also applicable for MNP customers.

Yesterday, Vodafone has announced a short-duration plan that offers unlimited calling and 500 MB data at about Rs 69 with 7 days of validity.
